STAFF SHORTAGES JANUARY COVID-19 UPDATE

Like many other businesses and industries at this time, the scourge of COVID-19 is having an effect on our staff at Racecourse Road Veterinary Clinic. 

Due to COVID-19 mandated isolation protocols, we are currently running short staffed, both for Vets and Nurses.

We are doing our best to continue to provide Veterinary care for your pets when you need it, but due to staffing shortages, there may be times in the next week or so where we need reschedule your pets appointment, or have to close the clinic early.

Currently, we have enough staff to maintain the clinic opening at 8am, and to operate through the day, but we have had to move some procedures and consultations - thank you so much to those of you that we have had to reschedule for being so understanding. 

Please, contact the clinic prior to coming down to make sure that we are going to be available. Also if you call us in advance, we can get your pets medication or food ready for you so that you can limit your time in the clinic. 

We ask that only 1 owner per family comes into the consultation in the clinic - if you would like to have more people present, please let us know, and we can see you outside, or call one of you on the phone from inside.

These effects should only be temporary. We will keep our website, and social media pages updated if there are any other major changes and call you if it directly affects your appointments.

When we have our full staffing crew back on deck, are back to normal opening hours, and things are getting back to whatever the next "new normal" will be, we’ll keep you informed through our website and social media pages, so keep checking in with us.
