Providing your pet with the best care at every stage of life.

Consultations &

Our veterinarians are here for your pet and all their health needs. From vaccinations, examining itchy skin and ears, through to checking odd lumps and bumps to give you peace of mind and a quality treatment plan.

Because pets age so rapidly, major health changes can occur in a short amount of time. The risk of heart disease, arthritis, kidney disease, cancer, diabetes, obesity and other serious conditions all increase with age.  Early detection is important and annual health checks can help your veterinarian diagnose and treat problems early, or even prevent problems occurring. This enables the best possible outcome and care for your pet.

Annual health checks also offer you a great opportunity to ask us about nutrition, behaviour or any other topics.

Desexing &

Our veterinarians high level of expertise and knowledge, along with our fully equipped surgery, allows us to perform the vast majority of surgical procedures that your pet may require through out it's life, such as:

- Desexing

- Lump Removal

- Wound Stitch-ups

- Orthopaedic Surgery

- Exploratory Laparotomies

- Biopsies

- Caesareans

- Intestinal foreign bodies

And so much more!

Just like humans, your pets teeth need looking after too! The health of their teeth and gums has a significant impact on their overall quality of life. Imagine having a really bad toothache and not being able to tell anyone about it!

At Racecourse Road Veterinary Clinic we are fully equipped to help provide your pet with the best possible dental care plan and treatment. From over the counter products to assist with on going care, professional dental clean under anaesthetic, to dental x-rays and extraction of unhealthy teeth.

Radiography &

Our clinic is fully equipped to take radiographs (often called x-rays) and conduct ultrasounds to assist with yours pets assessment.

Our veterinarians will discuss your pets case and conduct a thorough physical examination to determine if and what your pet requires.

Both radiographs and ultrasounds are important tools that help us to diagnose diseases and provide your pet with a best possible treatment plan.
